The large drinking bowls ACE by D&D Home | I LOVE Happy Cats were designed in collaboration with cat behaviorist Anneleen Bru. Cats naturally do not drink easily because in the wild they are adequately hydrated by eating live prey. Therefore, an optimal water environment that encourages them to drink is very important for their well-being. We like to give our cats large low bowls like ACE that resemble small pools of water and ensure that their highly sensitive whiskers do not touch the rim! ACE drinking bowls are made of high-quality ceramic that does not affect the taste of the water as much as plastic and makes them dishwasher safe. Protective dots at the bottom prevent scratching the floor and keep the bowl in place. Happy Tip! Place several ACE drinking bowls throughout the house in both safe spots and passages to encourage your cat to drink. NEVER place water bowls next to a food bowl because it is very unnatural to cats. It will demotivate your cat from drinking. Cats like drinking bowls to be +/- 30cm from the wall, this makes the bowl safer for them because they can then drink with their backs turned to the wall.
