As an Account Manager, you succeed in increasing sales within your region through your commercial talent, boosting the number of different SKUs—both by prospecting new clients and by driving growth with existing customers.


Your responsibilities include:

Generating new business within your own region:

  • You identify and report potential new clients.
  • You make use of your network and all available information channels and sources.
  • You prepare quotes and follow up on them.
  • You represent Laroy Group at trade fairs.
  • You monitor developments and opportunities within your region, the activities of competitors, and the needs of your customers.

Maximizing revenue and sales with the existing customer portfolio:

  • You maintain the existing customer portfolio.
  • You visit your customers on a very regular basis, taking into account the potential of each client.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of the entire product range, enabling you to successfully introduce new products and concepts to customers in a correct and results-oriented manner.
  • You provide commercial advice to the customer and thereby build a strong partnership.
  • You do everything possible to achieve growth, both in revenue and margin, through the structured use of QlikView, which allows you to develop in-depth skills in data analysis.
  • You participate in special activities organized by customers.
  • Where necessary, you support the customer in the development and execution of merchandising projects.

Communication & Reporting:

  • Annually, you prepare a qualitative and quantitative sales plan, which you present and justify to the Sales Manager. This plan follows the 20/80 rule and is set up for 90 days, allowing for analysis and adjustments every 30 days.
  • In the meantime, you evaluate the implementation of your 90/30 sales plan and take action where necessary to achieve the plan.
  • You report daily to your Field Sales Manager.
  • You create a weekly and monthly work schedule to organize your customer visits as efficiently as possible. This schedule is provided regularly to the Field Sales Manager.
  • You report on developments and opportunities within your region, competitor activities, and customer needs in order to leverage them to the fullest.
  • You actively and constructively participate in the monthly sales meeting.

Delivering Quality:

  • You always honor the commitments made to the customer.
  • You immediately report any changes in customer data so that the customer information in the database is always correct and up to date.
  • You inform the internal departments about fixed discounts and net prices agreed with the customer, ensuring correct invoicing.




What is expected of you?

Enthusiasm radiates from you! You are administratively very strong, able to process figures, perform calculations, and solve analytical problems… all combined with a natural commercial flair. You already have several years of successful commercial experience as a Sales Manager in a B2B environment.
