For our sales team in Wondelgem, we are looking for a BENELUX Key Account Manager. In this role, you are responsible for expanding and developing strategic key accounts in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. You build strategic partnerships, translate market insights into well-thought-out plans, and create growth that is felt across the board: in revenue, margins, and customer relationships.
Your responsibilities include:
Commercial expansion & business development
- You identify and activate new commercial opportunities with major clients and prospects both within and beyond the sector.
- You proactively approach the market in an opportunity-driven way and build new partnerships.
- You represent Laroy Group at trade fairs, events, and customer presentations.
Growing key accounts:
- You build long-term partnerships with our key clients.
- You map out category potential and translate it into concrete growth actions.
- You use data (including QlikView) to turn insights into sharp recommendations.
- You advise on assortments, promotions, and activations that truly work.
Collaboration & reporting:
- You work closely with external sales (field) and internal sales to execute commercial plans.
- You collaborate transparently with internal teams: marketing, logistics, procurement, and sales support.
- You closely monitor results and adjust where necessary.
- You report transparently and in a structured way to the Head of Sales.
Customer-focused & solution-oriented working:
- You build trust by keeping your commitments.
- You ensure smooth internal coordination and timely solutions.
- You actively think along with customers and turn opportunities into concrete actions.
What is expected of you?
Your profile
- You have a strong commercial drive and know how to convince others.
- You have experience as a Key Account Manager or a strong commercial background.
- You are analytical and data-driven, and turn insights into real business opportunities.
- You excel in relationship management and communication.
- You work hands-on and goal-oriented, and know how to set priorities.
- Experience in retail is key.
Technical skills
- Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with ERP systems and QlikView or a BI tool is a plus.
- You are fluent in Dutch and have a good command of French and English.
