For our logistics team in Wondelgem, we are looking for a Transport Coordinator. You will be responsible for organizing, planning and monitoring national and international transport operations (supplier collections, deliveries, shuttle transports, customer returns, etc.) through external transport companies. You will prepare transport files and freight documents and act as the key link between Laroy employees and external transport partners.
You are responsible for:
- Transport planning and coordination
Organizing national and international transport via external carriers, with a focus on efficient planning, cost control, and customer satisfaction. -
Daily monitoring of transport operations
Managing collections, deliveries, returns and trailer requirements, identifying deviations and communicating them in a timely manner to the relevant stakeholders. -
Administration and transport documentation
Preparing and managing transport files, CMR documents, customs documents and other required transport-related administration. -
Problem solving and control
Investigating delivery issues, handling damage claims, monitoring pallet balances and checking transport invoices. -
Collaboration and supplier management
Coordinating with internal departments and transport partners, requesting quotations and negotiating to achieve the best price-quality-service ratio. -
Legislation and compliance
Monitoring transport legislation and managing tachograph cards.
Who are you?
- You hold a professional bachelor’s or master’s degree in commerce, transport and distribution, forwarding, or an equivalent qualification gained through relevant experience.
- You have proven experience in transport planning or logistics coordination.
- You are well organized and able to efficiently manage multiple tasks and priorities.

You work accurately and in a structured way, with attention to detail and a strong focus on error-free administration.
- You have strong analytical skills and are able to quickly identify problems and develop effective solutions.
- You are a strong communicator and maintain smooth contact with transport companies, drivers, and internal stakeholders.
- You have an excellent command of Dutch and a good knowledge of French and English. Knowledge of German is an additional asset.
- You feel comfortable in a dynamic environment where flexibility, collaboration, and customer focus are key.
